Train Chef

A fisherman from a railway bridge pulled up a cod nearly two metres long. He threw it across the railway tracks. Not long afterwards a steam train came onto the bridge and the crew stopped to have a yarn with the angler. The cod meanwhile was under the cabin.

After a time the train moved off and the fisherman found the wheels had cut off the head and tail of the fish. The cod had shed all his scales in fright, and the heat from the furnace had grilled the fish ready to eat.
