Stop Watch

Two really keen fishermen set out into the bay in a pea soup fog.

"We must be mad going out fishing in this."

"We'll be okay. Take this compass and steer south-west for half an hour. Then we'll drop anchor and try our luck."

But after they'd been going for a while the man at the rudder said:

"Gosh! The watch has stopped. We must have gone more than half an hour. Get the anchor ready."

Shrouded in grey mist, they had some of the best fishing they could remember.

Eventually they upped anchor and headed north-east back to the angling club. When they brought their catch in the members crowded round.

"What a great box of fish! Where did you get them?"

"That's the trouble. We don't know where we were."
