By The Ankles
Two Irishmen travelled to Scotland looking for work but had no luck. They were
hungry and short of cash. Walking around they saw two Scots on a bridge. One was
holding the other over the side by the ankles. When they asked what this might
be, it was explained to them that the two men were tickling trout. Sure enough,
a few minutes later the man below pulled out a good-sized fish.
"Let's find a bridge of our own, Terrence, and we'll try our luck."
Presently they found a bridge and Patrick held Terrence over the side by the ankles.
He was there 20 minutes and having no luck when suddenly he called to Patrick:
"Pull me up, Pat. Quick."
"Have you got a beauty, Terrence?"
"No, I haven't, but there's a great train coming."
