Wifes Faith

The bowler had just gone in to bat when the telephone rang in the pavilion. A player answered it to be told it was the bowler's wife and she wanted to speak to her husband.

'I'm sorry, but he's just gone in to bat.'

'Oh, that's all right,' replied the wife. 'I'll hold on!'
