When Bill Tiger' O'Reilly, the great Australian fast bowler, was in England on tour he attended a party given by a Peer of the Realm.

The hostess indicated to the bowler and asked Lindsay Hassett who he was.

'That's Tiger,' answered Lindsay Hassett.

'Oh, really?' exclaimed the hostess.

'No, ma'am, O'Reilly.'
