A famous Hollywood film actress was on her first visit to India and was very interested in going to Calcutta during a Test match. She got VIP treatment and enjoyed the lead-up to the first over, the captains tossing, the white-clad players taking the field and the arrival of the batsmen. The opening batsman scored a boundary off the sixth ball and the umpire called, 'Over'.

'Well,' said the actress rising, 'it really is a beautiful game, but it's so very short!'
