No Balls

As tradition demanded, the cricket match was played on Christmas Day. The snow covered the ground and the players had difficulty keeping warm. The bowler couldn't get a foothold and the ball kept flying from his hand and 'no-ball' after 'no-ball' was called.

At the end of the over .the ice-cold umpire observed, 'It's the cold weather, we're all going to suffer from "no-balls".'

All the players agreed, the match was called off and they all returned to the fire in the clubhouse.
